Lithology and Thickness
Uniform biotite plagiogneisses and crystalline schists with rare layers of amphibole gneisses and granitogneisses. The rocks of the suite have undergone green schist diaphthoresis (silicification, chloritization, muscovitization), as a result of which most of the plagiogneisses have turned into quartz-muscovite-chlorite schists. In the upper part of the suite, layers of orthoschists, the relict structures of which and the chemical composition indicate the primary tuffaceous nature of the rocks. Thickness more than 1500m.
